TSC UNITED II
A WIN FOR CAPTAIN DARRAN
June 7th, 2016
Salty Dawgs were top of the table before this game. It seems like the boys enjoy playing the top teams so far after beating Twente West II, who was top of the table. TSC II conceded first following a dodgy set piece. However, the boys didn’t seem to be disturbed by the goal. They played well and dominated possession. TSC II had chance after chance and finally got one to tie the game. As the team gained momentum, they continued knocking on Salty Dawgs’ door. Despite the numerous opportunities presented, TSC’s forwards just could not secure a win. With about ten minutes left, Terry Park came rushing from the left back and slotted the ball home with a striker's composure to make it 2-1 for TSC II. Well done to the boys for a great win! On to the next one…
This win was dedicated to Darran, TSC II’s captain, who was taken to the hospital shortly after a clash of heads while he was filling in as a full back. After some recovery time, Darran has come back fit and will be playing in the next game!
WELL DONE TEAM!
MAN OF THE MATCH: TERRY PARK
Solid at full back all game, Terry made a fantastic run all the way from the back
line and slotted a fantastic finish that Darran would have definitely been proud of.
A comfortable performance to go with a winning goal for the game deserves
nothing but the Man of the Match award. Terry has scored in two
consecutive games. May his goal-scoring touch continue all season.

FIRST EVER WIN FOR TSC UNITED II.
June 3rd, 2016
This was a tricky match up for TSC II. The stats from the previous games showed a 2-1 loss for TSC II, and a 4-1 win for the opponents. TSC II wasn't going to be intimidated by these results. The team was ready to battle. From the kick off, it was evident from the desire and passion displayed from every single tackle that TSC II wanted nothing but a win. Daniel Camero and Sean Croke were pulling the strings from the midfield and tackled hard every single time. The breakthrough finally came right after Terry Park insistently promised the coach that he will deliver the goods if he was put on the field - and he wasn't kidding. Minutes after being subbed in, Terry scored an unusual, yet very critical goal. Well done TERRY!!! The coach joked that perhaps he should consider starting Terru from the bench every game if it means building his appetite for goals. The second goal was scored by the Captain, Darran, who smashed the ball into the back of the net following a poor clearance from the defense. Finally, a solo effort from Hani sealed the win for TSC II, as he danced around 3 players and placed the ball gently to the bottom left corner of the goal. The boys were dominant throughout the game, controlled possession, scored 3 goals, and even managed to hit the post twice. This was a well deserved WIN!

TSC UNITED II DEBUT!!!
May 25th, 2016
After a few tryouts and one friendly match, TSC UNITED II was up and running, facing an experienced side in FC Torino. With it being the first game of the season with a bunch of guys who have never played together in a competitive game before, this was a tough challenge for the coach. The team showed determination and looked lively all game. The midfield appeared impressive right from the kick off. This was a tough game for the boys but the team created enough chances to win the game. The TSC keeper conceded an unfortunate goal to make it 1-0 FC Torino. But the boys kept on fighting. FC Torino didn't create many chances but they made sure they converted their second chance on the counter. 2-0 FC Torino. Still, TSC II didn't give up. The team kept on trying to get back into the game but luck wasn't on their side. In the last few minutes, P. Haastrup managed to slot a beautiful goal in but it was too little too late. Despite the team's efforts, the finishing wasn't there. Besides the result, this was a good start to the life of TSC UNITED II. Potential in the team was definitely evident!
MAN OF THE MATCH: Sean Croke
Sean was outstanding in the midfield. He was easily the best player in the team for this game.
He hustled for every ball and initiated all of TSC II's attacks.
